Mae Sarit to Mae Sariang

Village.

Another nice roof.

We caught a little chick.

But we couldn't catch this rooster. (This picture
for Greta's mom)

Moped Diaries

We rented a moped for a day and cruised around looking for some hot springs that were supposed to be nice. We eventually found a kind of warm, eggy trickle coming out of the ground and that was cool...but, oh man, the moped was so much cooler.

This one is for Josh.

Thi Lor Su Waterfall: "No. 6 Most Beautiful Waterfall in World!!!"

We hiked to this waterfall that was touted as being the "No. 6 Most Beautiful in World." It was beautiful, but it was also a really big, fun waterpark.

Take Off!

The hood. Apparently, a lot of refugees from the
KNU democracy movement live around here. We
noticed that camo definitely was in, but otherwise
not much.

Nice shades.

The street in Myawadi. It'll be paved next year,
we promise.

Monkey Attack!!!

Greta and I spent a day in Lopburi, a town famous for its temples and monkeys. We decided to skip the temples and head straight for the monkeys, which are all over the town, but mostly live around this one apartment complex, crossing the street during the day to play around with the tourists in a little park. At first we thought they were cute, but when we got a little bag of seeds to feed them with they got really aggressive and vicious. They stole things and pulled our hair. It was fun anyways...

This monkey stole our water, bit through the plastic,
and started gulping it down before we could stop it.

Aaaaaaa!! So many monkeys!
